Green Clean Algaecide is a green alternative to harsh chlorine and copper chemicals that is safe for fish, pets and people when used as directed.

• Prevention and control of string algae and planktonic algae (Pea Soup)
• Reduces organic build-up and noxious odors including hydrogen sulfide

Dosing:

• Apply 3-7 teaspoons per 50 gallons of water based on algae density.
• Apply 5-11 ounces per 500 gallons of water based on algae density.

Application Tips:

• Apply GreenClean FX to area of ponds with greatest water flow to facilitate rapid and adequate mixing.
• Do not shut off pumps or aeration devices...aeration must be continuous during treatment for 48 hrs
• Apply early in the morning under sunny, calm conditions.
• Remove excess algae growth from pond/fountain to reduce the amount of decaying organic matter in the pond.
• Remove dead algae after treatment to help lessen the load of decaying organic matter in the pond.
• A second application may be necessary for heavy algal surface mats and blooms.
